Styled With Glamour Wears... Leather and Blue // The Reality of Exam Results

Been a crazy past few days, I am super pleased to say I got my A-level results yesterday and that all the hard work paid off. I got my grades and I am off to uni soon, wooo, reality of it all is sinking in and I am feeling rather happy.

I bought this little blue bag as a celebration to myself today and paired it with a leather and black outfit. My usual favourite combo. See you soon... :)

Styled With Glamour Wears... White Midi

Oops a second monochrome outfit in a row, what can I say it is still my go to colour combo. A bit more of a chilled look today with flat sandals and a tshirt. This skirt has been my project of today, it started this morning as my nans size 18 almost maxi skirt and is now my much more flattering split midi. I still need to create a bit of a lining for it as it is rather sheer but I am pleased with the (almost) end result. This skirt shape is one of my favourite designs, having already made it once before here back in April. Although this time was more of an alteration than making it from scratch, it fills the white skirt shaped whole in my wardrobe. 

I also wanted to mention I got a new blog header, woo finally...I have been wanting one for a long time so got my talented uncle to create one for me and I really do love it, the cool font and star is much more me, so big thanks to my uncle :)

Styled With Glamour Wears... Pastels and Black

Long time no see. I have been so bad at posting recently, its almost exam time (monday's my first exam...eek) so juggling revision, school and just life is a tad hectic. But I finish school on Tuesday, which in itself is just too sad/scary to think about, so being on study leave hopefully I will be able to post a bit more in my revision breaks. 

Anyway enough about revision, the sun is finally making an appearance here so I am trying my best to add a bit more colour to my outfits, starting with this look in a nice sugary pink. Sadly not all colour I had to finish with black accessories including these sandals which arrived yesterday. I really love the 'ugly' sandals trend for summer so when I saw these which are a good mix between pretty with the gems and ugly with the chunky straps, I had to order them.

Happy Belated Christmas

Happy Belated Christmas, hope you all had a wonderful day. I sure had a good one, too much food, some lovely presents and lots of festive cheer. 

This is what I wore yesterday on boxing day wearing my fur gilet, boots and bag which I had been given for christmas.

Styled With Glamour wears... The Beanie

Happy Sunday, hope you've had a good weekend. I have had quite a quiet one but as I wasn't working today I went down to the seaside for a change of scenery. Wearing black jeans and leather jacket this is a go to outfit mixing in grey and pink, two of my favourite colours. The temperature is certainly dropping here though so the beanie hat had to make an appearance, keeping me nice and warm while matching my bag perfectly.

There are a few more photos here than I would usually post but we used my uncle's Canon camera so the pictures came out so much better and we finally managed to achieve the blurred background effect I have wanted for so long. I think it is time to save up for a new camera. What do you think of the photos?

Hope you are having a good week, here is what I wore today a classic everyday look with my trusty black jeans and leather jacket. I will be back with a longer post tomorrow, I was sewing away all day and I cannot wait to show you the result.

Wrap Dress and Slip Ons

I never thought I would be the kind of girl to wear these slip on trainer shoes but here I am, I love that this blog has helped me try out new looks and ideas. Another fab thing is this dress which I bought the other day, I must confess I can be a bit of an impulse buyer but I was sensible and waited a few days before buying this. I have a theory that if you see something and you continue to think about it after you've seen it about how to wear it with other things in your wardrobe then its a good purchase. So I am afraid you might see this dress a lot over the winter. Here with a casual spin of leather and flats but I am thinking it will be great with heels as well as a winters coat and boots.

Sweet Colour

Wearing Pink, one of my favourite trends for this A/W here mixed with black and leather to add an edge to the sickly colour and soft texture of this jumper. The sweet colour makes a change from my usual darker tones but is actually one of my favourite colours as well as the colour of my bedroom! 

Hope you are having a good weekend, I am doing a 10k tomorrow which I am rather nervous about, I am not the best runner but it will be worth it to help Hospice in the Weald.

Casual Sunday

I have been looking for some leather trousers for ages but have never found any that are just right (or if they were have been out of my price range!). So when I saw these on Asos I thought I would order and see if they fitted, I never expected them too as I am awkward with trousers but was very pleasantly surprised when I tried them on. This is my ootd for a casual sunday which I spent with my dad as its fathers day. We had a lovely lazy day which called for flats and a blazer, nothing too fussy!

Pleats

I love it when you look in your wardrobe and find something you had forgotten you owned. Which is what I did this morning when I pulled out this skirt, it almost felt like I had bought it new but without the price tag. This is a rather simple look with my trusty leather jacket, my new favourite shirt and flats, but was perfect for going back to school today after nearly a month on study leave. It was definitely a shock getting up at 6:30 again which is why my looks tend to be quite easy to wear and comfortable for school. Hope you are having a good week and enjoying the sunshine I sure am!

Pearl Collar Necklace

Hello! How's your week going? 

I took these photos a little while ago not long after I posted the tutorial on how to make the pearl collar necklace I am wearing (find it here) and for some reason I didn't get round to posting them.

I am so happy it is the Easter Holidays now, I am looking forward to doing some shopping, eating probably twice my body size in chocolate and being able to dedicate some more time to this blog. I was thinking of having a go at a YouTube video so if you have any suggestions of what you would like me to do let me know!

Hats Off

Hello! How are you? 

The snow came back and then went again in a flash this week which is completely confusing me and my outfit choice in the morning. I had to wrap up again yesterday in this outfit with a black outfit base, tweed coat and leather accessories. Finally I just have to mention my hat which I am currently obsessed with. It is perfect for keeping the snow off in the winter as well as the sun off when it decides to come out! And at £7.99 I can afford to buy it in all colours!
