The Nightshirt

Everyone keeps describing this dress as a nightshirt but this is what makes it so great, the style of a shirt dress and comfort of pyjamas all in one. I can feel it will be worn on repeat all summer.

I can feel myself getting addicted following Dazed and ID as well as designers I love like Marques'Almeida and Christopher Raeburn all mixed up with the adorable images of cats and dogs I can find :)

Snake Boots

Another simple everyday outfit, this time a black and could be oatmeal, could be beige, combination, showing off my new boots. I love their snake print and are so easy to wear to liven up an outfit. What's even better they were £15, which as a student, is a fab bargain. This will have to be short, I have a portfolio to finish and an interview tomorrow (eek), see you soon...

Oversized

Its been so long, I have had a bit of a crazy month so took a little bit of a blog holiday, but I am back now and have planned some posts so it won't be so long again. 

Back with a little bit of a comfort look, oversized and loose. I read today the best way to pair culottes is with a fitted top and heels realising I was sitting reading it wearing the exact opposite. But I like comfort so an oversized and extremely cosy jumper and flats work much better. 

Well I have more work to get back to, online portfolios and interviews to continue to prepare for, who knew getting into a uni was the hardest part. See you soon

Winter Dressing

When it's winter having go-to outfits is a must for me especially when getting changed on a cold early morning. A statement coat is perfect for this thrown over an all black outfit. The unusual colour mix makes this one so interesting but more girly style here. With ankle boots for daytime and pointed heels for evening.

Styled With Glamour Wears... Off the Shoulder

Another monochrome outfit you are probably thinking but I can't deny I am still in a bit of a colour phobic phase so is probably one of my personal favourite combinations. Another of my favourite trends at the moment is off the shoulder tops, there is just something so feminine about showing off the collarbone area. 

I paired my floaty top with peg leg trousers to balance out the fabric on top and finished off with my rather beautiful but to be honest not the comfiest heels. I bought the heels for my prom not that long ago and I knew they wouldn't quite last me the whole night but I couldn't resist them anyway :)

Summer Time

I'm back and pretty much free for summer now until I start uni in September, so fingers crossed I will be able to post more often. Since the weather was so lovely today, me and my sister went to our local park to take some photos among the trees and sunshine. Wearing a bit more colour than usual with this floaty cami and my Birkenstock style sandals which I am currently rather obsessed with. I never thought I would wear sandals like this as my feet are rather narrow but they fit just right and are just so comfy.

Very quick post to give you a snapshot of todays look featuring my new striped trousers. I've just had a lovely week in Portugal with my friends and I am off to Paris in the morning, so things here are pretty crazy and exciting. Styled With Glamour wears... Midi and Stripes

Its been crazy long since I last posted, a huge mix of good and bad days. The bad I won't mention but good days, have included going to the Vogue Festival on sunday which was so much fun and to top it off its starting to feel like spring is here. 

But anyway I know I have worn this skirt on here before but I still love it so here it is again with stripes, stilettos and a slouchy trench. Hopefully with the nice weather I will be feeling much more inspired and will have more frequent posts to share with you.

Styled With Glamour Wears... The Shearling Jacket

Just a quick late night post featuring my shearling jacket which is fast becoming my favourite thing to wear to stay warm at the moment. Here I paired it with a feminine skirt and chunky jumper finished with leather accessories.

Winter Wonderland

Yesterday my family and I made our annual visit up to london to visit the Winter Wonderland and see the christmas lights. We usually visit before christmas but we just didn't get the chance this year. I had a very cosy outfit on with a fur lined coat and boots, perfect as it was rather cold and we always end up walking a long way. Just a couple of photos from our day out my favourite things being the beautifully colourful sweets and treats in the market and all the twinkly lights.

Wrap Dress and Slip Ons

I never thought I would be the kind of girl to wear these slip on trainer shoes but here I am, I love that this blog has helped me try out new looks and ideas. Another fab thing is this dress which I bought the other day, I must confess I can be a bit of an impulse buyer but I was sensible and waited a few days before buying this. I have a theory that if you see something and you continue to think about it after you've seen it about how to wear it with other things in your wardrobe then its a good purchase. So I am afraid you might see this dress a lot over the winter. Here with a casual spin of leather and flats but I am thinking it will be great with heels as well as a winters coat and boots.

Bit more leopard...

My leopard print obsession continues with this graphic print scarf I picked up on friday. I paired it with a black base today for school to let the print pop. I have so much leopard in my wardrobe now its starting to crawl its way into most of my outfits!

Bold Stripes

This skirt was one of those items that I bought a while ago but it then got hidden among many things in my wardrobe until I rediscovered it yesterday. I like that it is a simple thing to wear but creates a bold look almost effortlessly. Today I paired it with a black jumper and courts for work to let the pink and orange pop.  Hope you are having a good weekend!

Animal Loving

I have noticed I seem to be wearing rather a lot of animal print at the moment, first the leopard and now the snake! I feel its time to expand my animal print collection, maybe a cow print is next on my list. Well I will love you and leave you today with this snake print number I wore to my friends 18th a few weeks ago, my homework pile is calling!

Leopard and Stripes

I had been staring at this coat in Topshop for weeks deciding whether to buy it or not and today I finally gave in to its beautiful cocoon shape. As I find when it comes to winter and being in an all girls school, you get a lot of the same coat design repeated throughout the sixth form but when I found this coat I felt I could probably wear this without anyone else having bought it in my year because of its bold pattern and the fact it is quite a statement piece. This coat is also great for throwing over a simple look, like this striped sweatshirt and jeans combo, to make it feel much more glamorous, a feature great for an early winters morning when dressing becomes a bit of a mission! School Uniform

This post is a little bit misleading, this isn't really my school uniform but it is what I wore on my first day back at school today. Had a very easy half day today receiving our timetables, planners and just general admin to sort out. The only issue I am having is what subject to drop, I am tied between maths and economics!
