Wrap Dress and Slip Ons

I never thought I would be the kind of girl to wear these slip on trainer shoes but here I am, I love that this blog has helped me try out new looks and ideas. Another fab thing is this dress which I bought the other day, I must confess I can be a bit of an impulse buyer but I was sensible and waited a few days before buying this. I have a theory that if you see something and you continue to think about it after you've seen it about how to wear it with other things in your wardrobe then its a good purchase. So I am afraid you might see this dress a lot over the winter. Here with a casual spin of leather and flats but I am thinking it will be great with heels as well as a winters coat and boots.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Dior Inspired Skirt

Every girl loves designer clothing but with my saturday job wage its all a bit of a dream having a wardrobe full of designer labels. So taking inspiration from the catwalks is the best thing right now and is almost more fun. This skirt created by me and my gran is inspired by this Dior skirt from their A/W 13 ready to wear collection. I saw the skirt in Vogue and after showing my gran we designed our own version which she knitted for me. I am so pleased with the outcome it is beautifully stitched and even better super warm for winter!

I am wearing M&S jumper bought in charity shop, DIY skirt, PRIMARK ankle boots and MISS SELFRIDGE fedora.

Animal Loving

I have noticed I seem to be wearing rather a lot of animal print at the moment, first the leopard and now the snake! I feel its time to expand my animal print collection, maybe a cow print is next on my list. Well I will love you and leave you today with this snake print number I wore to my friends 18th a few weeks ago, my homework pile is calling!

I am wearing TOPSHOP dress, MISS SELFRIDGE shoes, PRIMARK belt and VINTAGE sunnies.

A Bit More Colour...

Finally you are probably thinking Jade is wearing a bright colour, well anyway thats what all my friends said at school today. I haven't ditched all the black yet but I think this orange, white and green combination is a lot brighter than my typical colour palette.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, my weekend will be full of revision which I will really not be enjoying but it will all be over a month today so I just have to keep going!

I am wearing Miss Selfridge leather jacket, Zara top, Topshop skirt, Accessorize bag, Tammy shoes, Fenwick sunglasses and vintage earrings.

Pink and Romantic

Happy Easter everyone, hope you have had a wonderful day!
I decided to go for a much more romantic feminine style today with pale pinks and floral. This is not a style I tend to wear often but is a style I really love. Another thing I don't tend to do is wear dark tights with light coloured shoes but here the pastel shoes match my skirt tying the outfit together. It is also really unrealistic to think I could go bare legged being only about 4 degrees so being practical (honestly I am not usually practical!) I had to wear thick warm tights.

I am wearing an Olive dress worn as a top with a Hollister t-shirt underneath, a Miss Selfridge skirt, Primark shoes and wool tights from M&S.

Pearl Collar Necklace

Hello! How's your week going?
I took these photos a little while ago not long after I posted the tutorial on how to make the pearl collar necklace I am wearing (find it here) and for some reason I didn't get round to posting them.
I am so happy it is the Easter Holidays now, I am looking forward to doing some shopping, eating probably twice my body size in chocolate and being able to dedicate some more time to this blog. I was thinking of having a go at a YouTube video so if you have any suggestions of what you would like me to do let me know!

I am wearing Miss Selfridge leather jacket (still in store and such a classic piece), boycotting skinnies with bootcut River Island jeans (desperately looking for some flared ones!), New Look ankle boots, Select top, Accessorize gloves, Republic bag, sorry it has been in so many outfits recently it just seems to go with everything, Olivia Burton watch and necklace made by me.

Happy Valentines

Valentines day is one of those times which is only really special if you are celebrating it, being a single gal I tend to treat it as an excuse to eat more chocolate than normal but otherwise it is just a normal day. However if you are lucky enough to have someone to celebrate with then I hope you have a lovely day. I am only 16 so I guess now is the time to just enjoy ourselves.
I decided to use today as an excuse to show off this Topshop kilt which is the only red item in my wardrobe. I decided to put together this look with the idea that it could be worn as a casual look to celebrate valentines or just as a fun look to hang out with friends, luxing up the wool with leather accents.
Lots of love Jade xxx

I am wearing a Miss Selfridge leather jacket (on sale now!), an Asos jumper, Topshop skirt, Dorethy Perkins ankle boots, Accessorize gloves, Republic bag and Olivia Burton watch.
