Snake Boots

Another simple everyday outfit, this time a black and could be oatmeal, could be beige, combination, showing off my new boots. I love their snake print and are so easy to wear to liven up an outfit. What's even better they were £15, which as a student, is a fab bargain. This will have to be short, I have a portfolio to finish and an interview tomorrow (eek), see you soon...

I am wearing ZARA jumper, TOPSHOP jumpsuit and bag and M&S boots.

Styled With Glamour Wears... Culottes

It finally feels like summer so out come the sandals and pasty limbs. I am taking a break from revision to show you my mid-exams treat with these culottes. I always find online shopping a good distraction from revision even if it isn't so good for my bank balance but anyway I am sure writing about how difficult a-level maths is is not going to be at all exciting, so I will just leave you with this look.
Adding a splash of colour with this printed blouse, which is just a beautifully draped shape. Black all round lets the greens and blues pop and the relaxed culottes and clutch make this a really comfortable summery look perfect for the heat. Finally finished with study leave hair (read: I rolled out of bed like this)

Enjoy the sunshine, I will hopefully be back to more regular posting soon when exams are over and I have regained the will to put on nice clothes rather than pyjamas :)

I am wearing ZARA blouse and sandals, ASOS culottes, MUK sunglasses and DIY clutch

Styled With Glamour Wears... Navy and Black

Little bit of a photo heavy post today but I just love this dress. Hasn't been quite warm enough to wear it out much yet but I am hoping I will be able to wear this outfit to my friends 18th tomorrow.  I have to say I am very picky when it comes to dresses and I rarely find one I really like. I like dresses to be easy to wear, the sort of dress you can just pick up, throw on and feel good. And that's how this dress feels to me, it is floaty, sexy at the back in a really not overly sexy way and being a mixture of both navy and black perfect for a slight colour phobe like me.
Anyway I will leave you with this quote, hope you have a lovely weekend wherever you are...

Styled With Glamour Wears... Pastels and Black

Long time no see. I have been so bad at posting recently, its almost exam time (monday's my first exam...eek) so juggling revision, school and just life is a tad hectic. But I finish school on Tuesday, which in itself is just too sad/scary to think about, so being on study leave hopefully I will be able to post a bit more in my revision breaks.
Anyway enough about revision, the sun is finally making an appearance here so I am trying my best to add a bit more colour to my outfits, starting with this look in a nice sugary pink. Sadly not all colour I had to finish with black accessories including these sandals which arrived yesterday. I really love the 'ugly' sandals trend for summer so when I saw these which are a good mix between pretty with the gems and ugly with the chunky straps, I had to order them.
Hope you have a lovely weekend, I'm off to enjoy the sunshine and of course fit in some revision...

I am wearing FRENCH CONNECTION jumper, ZARA skirt and sandals, MUK sunglasses, LINKS bracelet and DIY bag.

Bit more leopard...

My leopard print obsession continues with this graphic print scarf I picked up on friday. I paired it with a black base today for school to let the print pop. I have so much leopard in my wardrobe now its starting to crawl its way into most of my outfits!

I am wearing H&M scarf, ZARA blouse and boots and TOPSHOP skirt.

Tartan

Tartan is one of my favourite trends for A/W 13 but being in a sixth form where all the lower years have to wear a lovely green tartan it is finding pieces which have a more grown up print which doesn't look like I am trying to recreate the uniform. This is why this blouse caught my eye, the tartan printed chiffon is delicate but the contrasting white collar adds a playful edge. It was one of those items I spotted instore and instantly wanted to buy even though I am not usually a huge fan of collars.

I am wearing ZARA blouse and boots and TOPSHOP jeans.

Muted Palette

I am back feels like haven't blogged in ages even though its only been a week! I am back for the summer now apart from five days in Dublin in August so hopefully lots more posts to come. This skirt was one of my holiday purchases which I bought in Pull and Bear and although I don't wear much bodycon I loved its little print.
I wore this to lunch with some friends today so kept a muted palette (avoiding black though!) to keep the look light and summery. I was wearing my Zara shoes which are just so comfy and the small heel means I can wear them most of the day pain free!

I am wearing Pull and Bear skirt, New Look t-shirt, Zara shoes, Warehouse bag and vintage jewelry.

Dropped Waist

Another beautiful hot day which is really helping make the last day of school bearable. It is sports day tomorrow so for those non sporty people like me that means a day of sun bathing and watching others compete. However I am taking part in the egg and spoon race and tug of war just for a bit of fun!

This is what I wore to school today, when I wear my skater skirt I tend not to tuck tops in as I prefer the more relaxed dropped waist silhouette more related to the twenties to the womanly hourglass fifties silhouette. The boxy cut of this top is perfect for this and cuts off so skims my hips and allows the skirts to flare out still underneath. And I just need to mention these heels, perfect midi heel for daytime and a beautiful summery pink shade.
Hope you are enjoying the sunshine!

I am wearing charity shop top, Topshop skater skirt and sunglasses and Zara heels.

A Bit More Colour...

Finally you are probably thinking Jade is wearing a bright colour, well anyway thats what all my friends said at school today. I haven't ditched all the black yet but I think this orange, white and green combination is a lot brighter than my typical colour palette.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, my weekend will be full of revision which I will really not be enjoying but it will all be over a month today so I just have to keep going!

I am wearing Miss Selfridge leather jacket, Zara top, Topshop skirt, Accessorize bag, Tammy shoes, Fenwick sunglasses and vintage earrings.

Sleeves with Volume

This is what I wore to school yesterday. It is probably one of my more casual looks but then casual is sometimes best for a day full of lessons. I bought this Zara top a couple of weeks ago and I love the silhouette it's sleeves create despite having a simplistic design. It hasn't quite warmed up properly yet so I wore a longer sleeved top underneath and my trusty black jeans. To add a dash of colour I had my green satchel and jade necklace.
I am very excited because I saved up and yesterday bought myself an iPad which I have wanted for ages, I will do a post soon!

I am wearing Zara top, striped River Island top, Topshop jeans, Office boots, Accessorize satchel, Topshop necklace and Fenwick sunglasses.
