Weekend Look

It is feeling a bit like the end of summer seeing as it is September tomorrow so I am still making the most of the warm sunshine which creates a lovely hazy colour in these pictures. I bought this skirt just this afternoon after work (Earn the money then spend it in a matter of minutes!) so I couldn't resist styling it up when I got home. I guess I had a slight safari look in the back of my mind with my accessories and the long grass in the background but with my classic black base.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

I am wearing H&M top, Topshop skirt, River Island flatforms, New Look necklace, Parfois bag and Vintage sunglasses.

Pretty Dress with Sporty Trainers

This dress is one of those items which has been sitting in my wardrobe for a couple of months having only worn it once mainly because I haven't really known what to wear it with. I was wanting to casual it down yet modernise it because I think it generally has a more formal look to it. So I thought for a simple summers day what's better than pairing it with a pair of trainers which does both those things. I can't believe how much use I have had out of these trainers since I bought them, I would never have thought they would become such a staple in my wardrobe.
You are probably thinking why an earth is there a picture of your ear Jade but I just wanted to show you my new piercing. I got it a few weeks ago which is why I am still wearing a stud and I absolutely love it! I cannot wait to play around with different types of earrings and studs when I can change them and of course now I have the excuse to do some more shopping!

I am wearing vintage dress from Beyond Retro, Carvela trainers, sunglasses from Spitalfield market and earrings from accessorize.

Grey and Pink

Grey and pink is a colour mix I really love almost as much as I love black and white, the two colours have such a softness to them which creates a delicate palette for a look. I bought these shoes a few weeks ago and I instantly knew they would look perfect with grey jeans so after some hunting I found these in H&M, a soft block colour and perfect ankle length (and at a very good price!) I also wanted to add a bit of depth to the look so I finished with my leopard satchel and dark sunnies!
I hope you have had a fab bank holiday I went down to a local music event which is where these photos were taken and where the architecture of grey slates and white pillars complimented my look perfectly!

I am wearing blouse made my me, H&M jeans, Clarks shoes, Parfois bag and vintage sunglasses.

Hint of Leopard

I really do have a bit of a leopard obsession at the moment, and this bag which I showed you in my last past is helping combat it for the moment while I lust over a leopard print coat. A hint of leopard print just helps lift this simple outfit and I love it with the black and red combination. I have just been having a lazy day in the sunshine doing school work ready for the start of term which is coming all too fast! Hope you have had a good day whether you are on summer break or not.

I am wearing New Look t-shirt, H&M shorts, River Island flatforms, Topshop sunglasses and Parfois bag.

Dublin Buys

Just a look at what I bought when I was in Dublin this week, we had a really great time and especially loved the Temple Bar area with the constant stream of live music spilling onto the street from the pubs around. While there we went to the zoo for my sister, had a boat trip, visited Kilmainham Gaol and just explored the area. We didn't do a lot of shopping as unlike me my family get rather bored so it was kept to a minimum but I did get a few things.
1- grey dress from Kling, reminds me of a pinafore and is perfect for wearing both while it is warmer and in winter.
2- leopard satchel from Parfois, I've wanted a leopard bag for a while now and this is a cute miniture design.
3- T-Shirt from the Temple Bar trading company- tourist t-shirt but is super comfy and great for casual days.
Hope you've had a good week I have plenty of outfit posts to come this week now I am back home, so see you soon x

Inside My Make Up Bag

I am off on holiday tomorrow so with the majority of my clothes packed I thought I would give you a mini tour of my make up essentials I will be taking with me.
1. Ted Baker make up bag- such a cute design and really roomy.
2. Collection 2000 lip stain in 3 flirt- As much as I love lipstick I hate having to keep reapplying it so I tend to wear a lip stain as it stays on for longer and is a lot more lightweight to wear.
3. Topshop volume lash mascara- I love the brush on this mascara creates really long thick lashes.
4. Natural Collection clear mascara- I use a clear mascara to comb over my eyebrows helps keep a neat shape.
5. Garnier BB cream in light- helps cover blemishes and creates a smooth finish which is much lighter than foundation, I apply this with a foundation brush for better coverage.
6. Soap & Glory eyeliner pen- my favourite liquid eyeliner so far creates a really precise line and is very easy to use.
7. Seventeen bronzing brick in pink bronze- the pink shades are less harsh than a gold bronze and give a soft shimmery look, I use this on my cheeks and can multitask as an eyeshadow.
8. Body Shop strawberry lip balm- gives lips a shiny finish.
9. Seventeen loose powder- I sweep this over the top of BB cream to hold in place and hides any redness or shine to my skin.

Back To Reality

In my last post I showed you a more glamorous look with this skirt but this look is how I will most likely wear this skirt. As much as I would like to tell you I can run around all day and go to school in 3 inch heels, I don't without regretting it with aching feet. So most days flats are just the better option as much as I love a pair of heels.

I am wearing New Look t-shirt and skirt, Carvela trainers and Topshop sunglasses.

Nightwear and DIY espadrilles

Everytime I wear this playsuit my Dad likes to make the 'are you going out in your nightie?'  joke. Ah what we do for fashion, nightwear as daywear, underwear as outerwear the list goes on. I was glad for the looseness of this playsuit today in the heat and I still love its throw on easiness that it  has.
I just have to mention my DIY espadrilles, I have had them a few years now and they were feeling rather dull so I decided to bling them up. I was meant to go out and buy new gems but I decided to sew on an earring as decoration. I have only attracted them temporarily with a few stitches so I can swap round earrings and crystals to create new designs. I was really pleased with the outcome actually and although they aren't as exciting as the Chanel espadrilles I will continue to lust over they are a modern alternative to the plain navy design they were before.

I am wearing Pull and Bear playsuit, Office espadrilles DIYed with vintage earrings and Topshop sunglasses.
