Styled With Glamour Wears... Navy and Black

Little bit of a photo heavy post today but I just love this dress. Hasn't been quite warm enough to wear it out much yet but I am hoping I will be able to wear this outfit to my friends 18th tomorrow.  I have to say I am very picky when it comes to dresses and I rarely find one I really like. I like dresses to be easy to wear, the sort of dress you can just pick up, throw on and feel good. And that's how this dress feels to me, it is floaty, sexy at the back in a really not overly sexy way and being a mixture of both navy and black perfect for a slight colour phobe like me.
Anyway I will leave you with this quote, hope you have a lovely weekend wherever you are...

Modcloth- Uniquely You Campaign

Modcloth- Uniquely You Campaign. My Wanelo collage here and above.

Given this dress image by Modcloth, I knew I wanted to create a look suitable for a summer evening with a bit of an edge to contrast with its beautifully feminine shape and pattern.
Left to Right:
1- Black peep toe booties- chunky boots contrast floral dress while adding height.
2- Sheer ankle socks- Cute yet sexy addition to the black leather boots, sheer socks visable out top and toes of booties.
3- Wrap around watch- beautiful wrap around watch with leather strap matches boots while adds a classic edge with simple white and gold face.
4- Gold cuff bracelet- adding a glamorous edge with a touch of metallic with this cuff bracelet.
5- Floral tea dress- Beautiful floral base to outfit
6- White leather jacket- matches white base off the dresses floral pattern yet leather fabric adds a tough edge to create a perfect evening look.
7- Circle glasses- fun circle sunglasses fit with vintage style of the dress.
8- Velvet clutch- picking out the mustard colour in the dress, this velvet clutch adds a touch of colour to the look while the velvet again builds on the vintage style of the dress.

Styled With Glamour Wears... Pastels and Black

Long time no see. I have been so bad at posting recently, its almost exam time (monday's my first exam...eek) so juggling revision, school and just life is a tad hectic. But I finish school on Tuesday, which in itself is just too sad/scary to think about, so being on study leave hopefully I will be able to post a bit more in my revision breaks.
Anyway enough about revision, the sun is finally making an appearance here so I am trying my best to add a bit more colour to my outfits, starting with this look in a nice sugary pink. Sadly not all colour I had to finish with black accessories including these sandals which arrived yesterday. I really love the 'ugly' sandals trend for summer so when I saw these which are a good mix between pretty with the gems and ugly with the chunky straps, I had to order them.
Hope you have a lovely weekend, I'm off to enjoy the sunshine and of course fit in some revision...

I am wearing FRENCH CONNECTION jumper, ZARA skirt and sandals, MUK sunglasses, LINKS bracelet and DIY bag.
