Its been so long since my last post, damn dark evenings stopping me from being able to take outfit pictures when I get home from school. So not an outfit post but the Isabella Blow: Fashion Galore! exhibition. Last Thursday I went up to the Central Saint Martins open day so rather than waste the rest of the day in London I went to the exhibition at Somerset House. If I'm honest I wasn't overly familiar with Isabella Blow before the exhibition but I so wish I had been she seemed like an amazing lady. And a truly unique lady as well, I cannot think of someone who supports and encourages upcoming designers like she did with Alexander McQueen and Phillip Treacy. The exhibition as well as telling the story of her career showed the story of McQueen and Treacy and how she helped them grow and emerge as successful designers, featuring plenty of their beautiful designs including garments from the collection they designed together in her memory along side a constant loop of the whole collection show. It was such a good exhibition I really suggest going to see it if you get the chance.
